This Time of Year An Online Florist is a Godsend

February 3rd, 2010

At this time of year there always seems to be so many bugs going around, that it’s inevitable you are going to catch something. It’s doubly worse if you have kids at school. They always appear to be picking up some sort of cough or sniffle and then bringing it home to share with the rest of the family!

On top of the kids always being poorly, when you work in a large office, with so many people in such close proximity, there always seems to be somebody who is unwell, with some sort of illness or another, so if you escape the dreaded lurgy you are doing well.

Of course we have to spare a thought for people who are really unwell with illnesses much worse than a cough and cold. A few people I know have unfortunately been struck down with the dreaded Swine Flu. One of them in particular was really poorly with it and was out of action for over 3 weeks. He said that he had never felt so ill before.

My neighbour has just had to go into hospital for the third time this year. Unfortunately she keeps getting recurring chest infections and has to be kept an eye on in hospital. Although she knows it is a necessity she absolutely hates it. The thing that really cheers her up when she has to stay in hospital is receiving flowers whilst on the ward.

We have some great florists in Birmingham who do some absolutely stunning bouquets of flowers. The florists I use for sending get well flowers are truly inspiring and a lot of thought and design goes into their stunning creations. In fact their designs are so brilliant that they have recently won an award for top online florist in the Birmingham area. It’s well deserved as they work tirelessly to provide a good service and no matter how busy they are, they still haven’t lost the personal touch, which in today’s society is quite an achievement.
